The Missouri Department of Economic Development issued the following news release:
Missouri Division of Finance Senior Bank Examiner, Elaine Maddux, of Springfield, recently attended the Deploying Internet and Intranet Firewalls Training held April 10-14, 2006 at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Seidman Training Center in Arlington, Virginia.
The school provided the knowledge and skills needed to configure a firewall, including the identification of a suitable architecture, selection criteria for firewall products and rule base generation for common firewall products.
Maddux is a graduate of Drury University, Springfield, and has been with the Missouri Division of Finance since July 1988. Ms. Maddux's attendance was supported by Eric McClure, commissioner of the Department of Economic Development's Division of Finance. Contact: Eric McClure, 573/751-2545.
